I'm here for tonight
Take me in your warm embrace
And comfort me
I want to feel your touch
To tangle my fingers in your soft, silky hair
To be held and loved by you
And yet there you stand
So wrapped up in this other
Kissing and holding her
It burned out like a dissolving flame
The trust I held in you
The betrayal stung
and my heart ached watching you
I run and yet you don't follow
As I look back hoping and wanting you too
You open your eyes and guilt is evident
You see me and scream, yelling out my name
But I won't come to you
A void opens between as you call out and scream
No plee will make me go back to you
No matter how much you cared or loved me
The truth hurt to much.
